The first day is reserved for arrival in Bali. Depending on the time of arrival of each traveler, we will pick you up from the airport and take you to the lodge where we will meet the group and brief them on the next few days. Welcome dinner included at a local restaurant so that the group can get to know each other.
We begin our adventure in Bali with an immersion in spirituality at Pura Tirta Empul, an ancient temple where we will perform a purification ritual. The energy of the place is unique, ideal for opening your heart to the journey ahead. Next, we’ll explore a plantation of Luwak Coffee, one of the rarest delicacies in the world. To close the day on a high note, we will be dazzled by the magnificent Rice Terraces, where nature and Balinese culture meet in a breathtaking landscape.
Surprise day
We start the day by visiting two of the region’s most stunning waterfalls, where you can cool off in the crystal-clear waters surrounded by lush vegetation. Next, we explore the famous Monkey Forest, a nature reserve inhabited by hundreds of monkeys that jump from tree to tree in a dense and enchanting forest setting. To end the day, we pass through the local markets, where you’ll find typical handicrafts, spices and souvenirs, immersing yourself in Bali’s vibrant culture.
We take the boat to the famous Gili Islands. What are we going to see? Turtles, white sand and a paradisiacal sea.
Boat trip to the 3 Gili Islands – snorkeling and diving with turtles
Free morning to enjoy the beach and take the boat back to Bali. Overnight in accommodation near the airport.
Internal flight from Bali to Labuan Badjo to start a 3-day boat adventure. The first day is immediately adventurous with a climb to the viewpoint on the island and sunset on Kalong Island, where you can watch thousands and thousands of bats flying over the boats.
We wake up very early to watch the sunrise from the top of Padar Island. We head to Pink Beach, visit the Komodo dragons and finally stop at Manta Point to swim with giant mantas
The morning will be spent on the boat with a few stops for a swim at the beaches. Return to Labuan Bajo, where we will catch a flight back to Bali. Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Uluwatu
Free day to enjoy the region. Uluwatu is one of Bali’s most iconic destinations, famous for its cliffs rising above the Indian Ocean and spectacular sunset views
Day reserved for returning home. Transportation to the airport included.
On our trips, the meeting point is at the destination.
This way, you have the flexibility to choose the flight time that suits you best and where you want to depart from. If you need help buying flights, just contact us and we can do it for you.
Please note that you should only buy your flight tickets when the trip has been confirmed, i .e. when the minimum number of participants for the trip has been guaranteed. If you decide to sign up for the trip, you will receive an email as soon as this happens, indicating that you can now book your flights.
Booking flights is the responsibility of the travelers, although we can help you book them. If you book yourself, we’ll ask you for your booking details and arrival times.
On arrival, a member of The Portuguese Buddy will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the rest of the group.
You can go first. However, you’ll be on your own until you meet yours. Buddy and the group at the hotel on the day the trip starts. If you wish, you can also stay for more days after the end of the trip.

We confirm the trip when all the conditions for it have been met, namely that the minimum number of travelers has been reached, as well as all the issues relating to the organization of the trip (reservations, transfers, activities…).
Confirmation usually takes place several months before the trip, but it can be up to 30 days before the date. It may happen that the trip is already confirmed when you make your booking.
If we have not reached the minimum number of travelers 30 days before the trip, we will contact you to inform you that the trip has been canceled.
If this happens, we will give registrants three options :

Portuguese nationals are currently covered by the visa on arrival program for stays of up to 30 days. All you need to show is your passport, which is valid for at least six months after the end date of your trip, and your flight tickets out of the country. The process is simple and will cost around 35€. You can pay by bank card or cash.
We have chosen accommodation that is well located in the city center and close to the main points of interest, in order to make it easier to get around as planned in the program.
In most places, we select 3 to 4-star hotels, usually with two-bedded rooms, but in some cases the group may have to share rooms. For the 2 nights spent on the boats, the group may have to share a cabin and a bathroom. If you wish, and subject to the availability of the accommodation, you can request a private single room, but this will be subject to an additional fee.
On this trip we use a wide range of means of transportation. Depending on the activity, we can use a car, van or boat.
Of course, at no extra cost! Our group is varied and everyone is welcome.
